This policy explains what information JV Construction ("JV," "we," "us") collects through the JV CRM application and the public appointment-request form, and how we use it.
Who this applies to
Two groups of people interact with our systems, and we collect different information from each:
- CRM users — our employees and sales representatives who sign in to manage clients and appointments.
- Prospective clients — visitors who submit the public appointment-request form, without creating an account.
Information we collect
- Account information (CRM users): name, email address, and role, created when we set up your account.
- Client and project information (entered by CRM users): client names, contact details, addresses, project notes, photos, and quote documents related to construction projects.
- Appointment requests (public form): the name, email, phone number, project location, and message you submit. We also log the IP address of the request for basic spam/abuse triage.
- Location data: when you provide a project address or map link, we resolve it to map coordinates to plot job sites on our internal dashboard.
- Google Calendar data (CRM users, optional): if you connect your Google Calendar, we store an access/refresh token to create calendar events for your appointments. We only write events — we don't read your existing calendar.
How we use this information
- To operate and provide the CRM to our team.
- To follow up on appointment requests submitted through the public form.
- To schedule and manage construction project appointments.
- To display client and job-site locations on an internal map for our sales team.
- To keep our systems secure and prevent abuse.
How we share information
We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that run our infrastructure, under their own data protection terms:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
- Google — used only if you connect Google Calendar, per Google's API Services User Data Policy.
- MapTiler — provides map tiles and address lookup for the location features described above.
- Amazon Web Services — hosts the application itself.
Data retention
We keep account and project data for as long as your account or client relationship is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. Unmoderated appointment requests that don't turn into a client relationship may be deleted periodically.
Your choices
- CRM users can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings, which deletes the stored access/refresh token.
- To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.
Security
We use industry-standard practices — encrypted connections, access controls, and row-level security on our database — to protect the information we hold. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
